Before any runner gets down to the details which help to race faster, it is important to understand and internalize basic health, fitness and running tenets. George Malley (aka Malmo) who is a former U.S. recordholder in the steeplechase and 2:11 marathoner, has 'Malmo's Manifesto' which really hits the point.
