Greg Meyer, 1983 Boston Marathon champion and the last American man to win the Boston Marathon, gives a great interview at www.garycohenrunning.com. Greg discusses everything including his Boston Marathon victory with detailed insights, setting 10 American records at distances from 8k to 25k, 1984 Olympic Trials Marathon disappointment and career since retiring from competitive racing. He also relates the excitment of his 25th anniversary race this year when he ran with two of his children and threw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game. Additionally, don't miss his first running memory, childhood dreams and funniest running memory. This may be Greg's most comprehensive interview ever. Go to www.garycohenrunning.com , click on the "interviews" tab and then click on Greg's picture. The format and pictures don't allow for posting on the forum like I usually do with running essays. Thank you for the positive comments I have received for the several running essays and interviews I've posted on your message board.

Hey Dude, Just thought i would let you know I'm going to see that crazy SOB Tuttle in 2 weeks.
Saw Tom Graves this weekend... I sent him that article on Tuttle.... said it was fantastic. I know Tom wasn't anything great after college but you should think about interviewing him. He was the top freshman in the country at Auburn (13:42??). than he was plagued with injury. Just a thought. Plus he is just a great guy.
take care, JD

Kevin asked my connection to the QC Striders... they are one of the clubs that has a link to my website and I have a link to the QC Striders on my site. I occasionally post an essay or let your members know of new interviews on my site to be informative and in hopes that members will visit my site to increase their knowledge. Jordan - Thanks for sending that article to Tom Graves. I don't have Tom's e-mail, so please have him send it to me at my e-mail address which is on my site at www.garycohenrunning.com Happy running!
