today we did our first indoor track workout of the season (by first i mean it was the first one we actually ran ON the indoor track)- the assignment was 5x800m "fast" with full recovery- it turned out to be a decent workout
i ran: 2:14.25, 2:13.88, 2:13, 2:12, 2:13.7 and we took around 800m slow jog in between each repeat- the workout would have been much harder with less rest, but the full recovery made it pretty enjoyable- it felt good to get out and move-
im not racing this weekend so my next meet will be next saturday/sunday at the patriot league champs where i will run the 5000m saturday (goal: 15:10 - 14 seconds off current season best) and the 3000m sunday (goal: 8:45 - 13 second PR)
then the week after that i'll be home for 10 days- im looking forward to that-

That's a pretty solid workout. It is amazing that you posted, Dan. I decided to pull a "Dewitt" today and ate a big juicy hamburger for lunch. And here is my shout out to Linn's - it was awesome, far better than the Princess could ever be.
I did my impersonation of you later - hamburger tasted good the second time I had to chew it back down.
