I read that too Jaron. If this is true I hope Frostburg puts some serious effort into getting a top notch coach.

Coach Moreno resigned yesterday as head of the Men's and Women's Track and Field program. He is taking over the job at St.Francis. We had a brief meeting before practice where the whole team was made aware of the issue. Coach Lowe is taking over for the remainder of the year. There is going to be a new coach in place by the beginning of next season. The sprinters and field events will be coached by two Graduate Assistants while Coach Lowe will be dealing with the distance as well as all of the other head coaching duties. There will be a transition phase but I'm sure that our team will have a great season even with the sudden events.

There you go, Dennis. Looks like there is a coaching job open that you should try to get!!!

That's a good one Jaron!!! On a more a serious note, I would love to see FSU get a great track and field coach. If you look at our area, the nearby states and Maryland there are many great T and F athletes who would be excellent D3 performers.Looks like this season is going to be a busy one for Randy.

I would guess they will want a sprint or field coach for the position since Randy is already there. Or maybe Randy will take the head track position too.
I have a couple friends form college which would possibly be interested in it, but again they are distance coaches, so I'm not sure if that is what FSU would want.

sports.frostburg.edu/news/releasedetail.cfm?id_number=4882Saw that Frostburg cancelled all those home meets they had scheduled for the Spring. I think that it was the right decision. It is just a shame because it looked like they would bring in a lot of people (especially with a high school meet - great way to recruit)!
