I am a graduate student at FSU. I,ve participated in Div I Cross-Country and Track for 4 years. When I moved to FSU last winter, I still had a high passion for running. Unfortunately I had a really bad snow incident that almost had my feet cut off! (frost bite). I therefore stopped running for some time (following the doctor's advice). I have started running again but I find it hard to do it on my own. And with change of residence, it took me a while to get used to Frostburg. I am now familiar with the place and everything is going on smoothly. I kindly ask for anyone around Frostburg area or Cumberland to partner with me in training. I like running on the Allegany trail or on FSU campus. I have flexible times; mornings or evenings will be absolutely fantastic apart from Tuesdays and Wednesdays of which I have classes until 8.30pm. Terah, I am familiar with your previous running. I know that you ran for Coastal Carolina and were a qualifier for the NCAA Division I cross-country championships. You really put up some fast times. I must say that I knew that you were at Frostburg and I had heard about your incident on the Highlands Trail last year. We have a group that occasionally meets in Frostburg to run in the evenings twice a week. We probably won't be running as a group for a while though as two of us have just recently completed marathons and still recovering. However, we will probably start back up as a group in the near future. I personally, would love for you to join us. We don't run fast, so it might be a good idea to run with the group on a recovery day. We typically go from 8 - 10 miles at a little under 7:00/mile. I typically run with the group on my easy day and it is a lot of fun. There are currently only three of us, but I think we will most likely be adding a fourth shortly. The best thing to do is check back on this board under the Training Run topics to find out when and where we are running. You are welcome to show up to any of our runs. It would be great to have another person who loves to run in the group.

Terah, I will take the rest of this week very light and pick up my base line training again next. In between training cycles I run 55 to 60 miles a week. 9 miles a day M-F and at least 13 on Sat or Sun. MWF I run at 12 noon for 70 minutes leaving from the FSU gym. T and Th I try to run with Jaron. Jaron's slow day makes a great tempo day for me. With Jaron's and others willingness to run as a group it makes the training fun. This group has a lot of support for each other and the group is always willing to share their talents. Hope to see you on the run.
