since our pacing break just happens to fall on GAR weekend and we have the weekend open from racing, sounds like my teammate leo smith and i will be at the GAR
i still have to talk to my coach to see if we are able to do any speed work during the race or whether it will just be a 9 mile run for us- either way, we will be toeing the line with the old crew and i am quite excited for that!
talk to you soon! DAN

well- i dont think we will be able to make the dinner on friday night after all- this is a pretty big week in terms of key workouts for our team and since we do not have a meet on the weekend, we are running hard both wednesday and friday- i asked my coach if friday's workout is something that could be done over 15000m of downhill asphalt and it sounds as if it was designed to be done on our 10k course to simulate our regional race-
so, i dont think we can skip the workout on friday, and we wont be leaving here until the 4:15pm practice is over- that means a late arrival into the land of milk and honey at about 11-11:30PM and an early start into the race the next morning
we will definitely still be at the race, but it will most likely be a jog for us as we prepare for Penn State, Patriots, and beyond-
just wait two more years and october 2008 will be my for real GAR debut- dont worry!
sorry to dennis and jaron for telling them we could do the dinner, but i did not know the seriousness of the workout and our inability to do it on our own at the race until just late last night- we still plan to do the race but the dinner just wont work this year-

Not a problem Dan, your training at Lehigh should come first. We'll get you on the panel in 08.
